These terms apply whenever you leave a device with BryLabs Tech Repair or ask BryLabs Tech Repair to carry out work for you. Please read them before signing.
1. This Agreement These terms are between you, the customer, and BryLabs Tech Repair of Mervin, Saskatchewan.
Sending a request and signing these terms does not commit you to a repair. The terms take effect for any device you hand over and any work you approve.
2. Estimates and Approval No repair work is carried out without your approval.
An estimate is based on what is known at the time. If further faults are found, or the work will cost more than estimated, you will be told and asked to approve the change before the work continues.
3. Diagnostic Fee A diagnostic fee applies when a device is assessed, at the rate shown on the Pricing page of www.brylabs.ca at the time. It is waived when you approve the repair, and is payable if you decline it.
4. Your Data You are responsible for backing up your data before handing over a device.
While all reasonable care is taken, BryLabs Tech Repair is not liable for data that is lost, damaged, or changed during testing or repair.
Personal files are not opened or browsed unless the work you have asked for requires it.
5. Passwords and Access Please ensure all passwords, PINs, and unlock codes needed for the work are given with the device. Never send them through the website.
A device that cannot be unlocked may not be able to be fully tested or repaired.
6. Parts Parts that have to be ordered for your repair are paid for before they are ordered.
Part availability and delivery times are outside the control of BryLabs Tech Repair.
7. Payment The balance for approved work, and any diagnostic fee owing, is due when you collect the device.
8. Existing Damage and Repair Risks BryLabs Tech Repair is not responsible for faults or damage that were present before the device was handed over, whether or not they were visible at the time.
Opening or repairing a device carries some risk. A repair may not succeed, and may reveal or bring on other faults, particularly in devices that are older, liquid damaged, or previously repaired.
9. Guarantees and Warranties Any sorts of guarantees and warranties shall be agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties and a witness for each (one if signed in person together).
No other guarantee or warranty is given.
10. Unclaimed Devices A device not collected within 60 days of you being told it is ready for pickup is treated as abandoned. BryLabs Tech Repair may then sell or recycle it to recover the cost of work done and parts supplied.
11. Prices Published prices are subject to change. The price on your estimate is the one that applies to your job.
12. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan, Canada.
